Default need help with traktor scratch calibration

Already sent an email to NI support but figured I'd give a shot here too..

Been trying to calibrate my vinyl setup and it just continually fails.

    setup
    traktor a10
    numark ttx turntables
shure white labels or ortofon nightclub carts
    pioneer djm800
    macbook 2gb, 2ghz 10.7.5 (cannot update to 10.8)
    traktor 2.267
    Traktor x1 mk2

So I continually get calibration failed no matter what I try.
Have tried both phone and line outputs of TTX and phono and line of A10
If I touch the record the track speeds up really fast.

The setup works fine on a new macbook (don't have the specs)
Anyone have any ideas on how to setup so I can get this working.

tried both brand new white labels and ortofons.
    brand new timecode vinyl

The system works perfect on my firend's laptop which is newer.

The only difference is the laptop. But I have no idea on where to start on getting my comp to the correct options.

Downloaded brand new drivers and traktor also.

So I was able to calibrate the vinyls BUT I need to push my latency up to way over 1000.

Now the bpm drifts non stop and sound is all garbled

Ugh any advice to help me get the latency down on my laptop? I literally have nothing running on my laptop but traktor.
I really don't want to bring my imac to the club and leave it there for shows instead.
