Default How to Stop Computer Dimming in Traktor

    Hi,
Was wondering if anyone knows how to stop my computer from dimming after about a min or so of not touching it in Traktor and to basically give me full brightness constantly in Traktor. I hate constantly just having to tap the mouse pad to stop it dimming in the middle of a set or in the middle of a mix. I looked through my computer settings to see if I could do it but couldnt see anything. Just stuff on screensaver times. Running through a mac if it helps.
    Cheers

    Stop Dimming:
    • System Preferences > Energy Saver
    • Click on “Energy Saver”, then go under “Battery” tab first
    • Unselect the check box next to “Slightly dim the display when using this power source”
    • Unselect the checkbox next to “Automatically reduce brightness before display goes to sleep”
    • Repeat the same settings adjustments under the “Power Adapter” tab if desired

    Stop Sleeping:
    • Move the top slider to 'Never'.

Getting the answer quicker next time:
    • Google: Macbook stop dimming ;-)

    You're welcome

Download the free app called caffeine. You can set a predetermined time, or keep the computer/screen active indefinitely.

    +1

Brilliant app. Use it every single time I use Traktor.

Put another +1 on this one. I love this app. It sits in your menubar and it just takes a click to start/stop it.
