Tutorial: interchangeable use of a CDJ in HID mode to a vinyl turntable on one DVS
Here's a tutorial video I made as a solution to be able to get the best of both worlds when controlling DVS software where you can utilize both a CDJ in HID mode AND a vinyl turntable with timecode discs to control each one of two DVS decks. This is different from a 4 deck setup because one software deck can be controlled interchangeably by a CDJ and a turntable. We also discovered that when using the turntable, the CDJ can still function non-transport HID controls like crate selection, loops, and hot cues.

I used to do that when I had my CDJ-400s. As you say, best of both worlds.
