Unhappy S2 LED meter always shows clipping

I have an S2 MkI and it's LED VU Meter always shows that I am clipping when I am in fact not. I think the culprit is the fact that Traktor's headroom setting is at 6db, which if I weren't using it, I would be clipping. So unfortunately, the S2's meters does not take in to account the headroom and still shows clipping. I have gone in to the S2 settings and I have tried using both "PGM" and "Master" as for what should be displayed by the LEDs, both giving the same result. If I were to get rid of the headroom and turn down each channel 6db via the gain knob the problem is rectified, but I want to be able to keep my gains at 0db and have the LED's show an true reflection of the signal. Any ideas?

The whole point of headroom is to lower your output level without affecting the meters. Otherwise, it's just an attenuator, exactly the same as turning the Master Volume down.
