Default View controls of Vci100SE in the dark

    Hi all,
did my first gig with the VCI100SE 2 days ago all went well but i found it hard
to view my controls on the vci, there was minimal light were i was setup and after a wile it was getting difficult to see were my knobs are set at.
does anyone have a simple solution to this? i know i can take a small torch or a lamp or even a candle but maybe something can be done on the vci to improve this. any ideas?? i thought of changing the Knobs of the vci or painting the line of the knob, is there such a paint that will glow with out neonlight?

    Hey dIm,

I purchased a ubs/battery light with a flexible cord and it has a clap and provides more than enough light, very easy solution. I purchased it from Amazon, I provided a link showing the light I purchased.

    Hope this helps,

yeah i'd say get a flexible usb snake light, they are cheap and hopefully it would suit your setup (laptop usb port not far from vci) then again you could get a usb hub and attach it to the back of the vci and run a couple of them directly over it

Thanks for your ideas guys, i should get both of those lights usb and pen light.
i remember one day i was at a bar and this new DJ was playing that night but he didnt know much about the routing of the sound system there, so i offered to help him, it was very dark and couldnt see the connections so he pulled out this pen light and the job was done in a second. i thought thats a cool and handy thing to have but i forgot about it.
I still think there might be some things we can do to improve visualy the controls on the vcise.

hmm so usb light or pen light.. not sure which one is best.. the usb could be better if you can fix it to 1 position rather then having to hold it over the vci-100 se... any recommendations for usb lights.. i was not able to find anything at the mall so might need to scour the net any suggestions??
