Has anyone ever tried to plug a guitar into one of the 1/4 inch inputs on the vci400 with traktor running as a 3rd deck? Will it work? Will I damage my epuipment trying it?

Use a preamp/DI to boost the guitar to line level first.

Get a sound card and run it as a live input in traktor

This. I use my guitar with Traktor and this made my life better.
