Default Problem with mapping two separate functions to one knob in traktor

    Hi guys,

I'm writing, because I've encountered a problem with my traktor map.
I'm using xone k2 and I want to map high adjust and filter adjust to one knob, but the function will depend on whether one button is on or off. I tried doing that with modifiers, but it does not work. The knob is either disabled or the movement controlls the two adjusts at a time.

    Ane tips?

Can you please post a screen shot of setting just this two commands and the modifier so we can have a clear idea if this could possibly be an incorrect mapping or not.

Hello and welcome to the forums.

your button that is a modifier, we'll call it modif Z
    Create:
    modif Z /direct 1 when mod Z=0
    modif Z/ direct 0 when mod Z=1
learn the led out for those
You've just created a toggling modifier switching between two states.

assuming your modif Z=0 state is your high adjust, create the command with Modif Z=0 and create the command for filter adjust with modif Z=1

Done that's basic mapping 101. There's no reason that shouldn't work (assuming the hardware type of buttons on the k2 doesn't interfere).

Let us know how it goes.

May I suggest reading that thread where you'll find good tips on mapping:

There’s also an almost hermetic community that exists in many areas of dance music, where serious hobbyists feed off each other’s expertise but barely connect to the industry – despite many of those involved actually working in it.

    Thank you Yul!

This works perfectly! I've just added an additional midifier condition for the trigger button and that was my mistake!

I managed to do LED mappings for those with no problem.

And thank you for kind welcome This forum is full of priceless knowledge
