I have a question, how can i put music and playlists from beatport to my iphone?
You don't....
Beatport Pro is just a tagging system...
I think I am gonna stick with iTunes... I know my music, so I don't need to tag it with crazy tags. I do however need to organize my playlists, and update them constantly. This software doesn't do that. to me this is just another thing to try and make it so people can have a ton of music and play whatever they want based off some tag, not knowing their actual music. This in turn mkes it so people can buy buy buy... Not for me.
If you import your collection from iTunes into BP2, and then you amend tags in Beatport Pro, do they carry over back to iTunes, and in turn into Traktor etc?
Personally, if they do, then that alone makes it worth the initial time investment I reckon!
I have been using Beatport Pro for a few years. It's AWESOME - FOR BUYING MUSIC. I never use the website anymore, I have things nicely set up in Beatport Pro. When I log in it shows me new tracks on my extensive list of artist and labels I like, and it shows me clearly which tracks I have already previewed and purchased.
I organize everything in iTunes. And I now use my QuickTag application to tag everything. I'm working on a V2.0 that gives more control over how the tags are written:

The advantage of this approach is that your tagging works in any application that supports ID3, it's very easy to search.
Hi there, thank you for your reply although most info in that link doesn't really answer my questions. Cheers.
