Default Getting known in a club?

Now i have been DJing in one of the biggest clubs in my town, a superclub.
A friend of mine is one of the resident DJ's there and iv coverd whole nights for him numerous times and he lets me play for half hour most weeks. Now i no the majority of the people who work there and the promoters etc kinda know me. Know there was a slot in one of the rooms the needs a new residency, how do i get them to chose me for this? They know i have only been doing it for a year and i use my controller instead of CDJ's (which by the way for a year im pretty good) why would they chose me over someone whos been DJing for years and they know?? How do i get more known to them they said they have enjoyed my stuff that i have done there!

Ho do i get myself in there residency books? Alex

To start off, you should actually tell them you want the job.

Yeah not as easy as that, when the club closes thats it. Or they usually shoot off befor the night ends. I have spoke to the numerous times about it, they said they were thinking about it and they have been busy etcx

    1) tell them you are looking to get the spot
    2) get into some personal time with the promoters
    3) for all clubs its all about the bottom dollar. they want to know not only are you good at your presentation, and show, but firstly they want to feel secure that if they GIVE you the spot, you can turn out a buck for them. so, start inviting friends who DONT go there, and actually introduce them to management in passing conversation.
The people you invite dont need to be special in any way. What you are doing here is showing the IMPORTANT staff that you know more people then whos already at the club
