Default MIDI controller with sensitive pads

Hi guys. I'm a drum player. I'm trying to build up a live show with a controller and Ableton.

I'm looking for a solid controller with like sensitive buttons or something to play samples with different velocities.

Just heard about Maschine, akai apc 40 and livid Base. Any feedback?

    Tnx!

I have experienced it, and I really enjoyed Maschine, but the pads are not as responsive as I would like. It's also very expensive to use just as a controller for Ableton. I haven't tried the Akai MPDs but I hear great things about them. Another option is the KMI QuNeo, which I have tested and enjoyed very much. Finally, If you want full control over Ableton Live, get an Ableton Push. The APC40 doesn't have velocity sensitive pads.

QuNeo has the most sensitive pads. Maschine is a great choice too. The Base is barely sensitive at all in my experience. The APC40 doesn't have velocity sensitivity, and all the MPDs and MPCs (post 2009) are basically junk.
