MIDI Fighter 3D stop working after button hammering

I've got a rather serious error on my MIDI Fighter 3D.

After some time hammering the buttons (10-30 seconds usually) the MIDI Fighter stops working. If i refrain from hammering, and instead just push an occasional button here and there, it can go on forever - sometimes.

It feels just as if the controller breaks down when it if overloaded with information to process.

Has anyone else come across this problem?

If this happens using Traktor,
check if you use the option "send midi clock" at the Traktor/preferences/midi clock and try disabling it.
Does this make any difference?
