Please help a newbie with Controller/MIDI/Traktor issues

Hey guys,

I just got Traktor and a UC33e Controller. I have watched the youtube tutorials on Midi Mapping: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQjJsi2nPJ0 but I cannot get it to work.

I think maybe my uc33 is not installed properly, even though it said it does and I used the drivers from the M-Audio site: http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=....drivers&f=751

The thing is when Traktor is open, I thought that when I move any of the sliders etc, the little Icon for MIDI in the top of the window should light up, but it does not.

Any ideas what i should do - or how I can fix this?

go to your preferences and make sure you turn the midi in and out for your controller on.
