If this is your official set-up, I'm curious to know what your unofficial set-up is?

Roland mc 505? Nice produce much on it? Have you synced it to traktor?
It's not the gear. It's how you use it.
limitations are the source of creativity.
If you don't practice you don't want it.

Thanks! I actually love it, I use it mainly for live shows, when other DJ's come by to collaborate (they use it), and for creating some samples (recording into ableton w/fx).

Believe it or not this is my second 505, they were both given to me. When I first received it a few years back I had no idea how to really use it. Now I have it connected to a channel on ableton and use it to add some pretty bad ass sounds. In the next few days I hope to receive a new midi to USB cable to sync the 505 with abletons midi clock.

Here's an example of what I've done, using it without sync sucks because the buttons/internal clock are not too great but Ive gotten used to its timing and am able to sync it manually pretty fast.

One of the reasons I love it's smaller brother, the MC-303.

Ah yes I love how "simplistic" the 303 is, all the controls are within reach and very simple to find!
