Firmware seems broken for Hercules 4-mx DJ Controller

I have configured and used my Hercules 4-MX DJ console in the past on my PC, but when I was updating the firmware since it was mandatory to work with a Mac, an error occurred (I didn't have time to take note since the window disappeared right away) and my console is not recognized on any computer since.

I have tried the manual firmware update multiple times but when I hold either the Mic button or the two Load On Left/Right Deck buttons, it doesn't seem to make a difference in the manual firmware updater. I have also tried different USB ports and using a powered USB hub with no success. I tried on my PC running Windows 7 and on my Macbook Pro running Mavericks. I tried contacting Hercules customer service but they need the invoice to provide me with a solution and I don't have it.

What can I do? Also, I live in the SF Bay Area.
