OK, i'll lift the lid a little.

Depending on whether we can find a good venue, we're planning on doing a few tester nights (an Alpha and Beta) for a new club night with the working title of "Control Shift" (geddit).

We're doing this in conjunction with the International Beatboxing Conference (and UK championships) so we're also looking for rappers, beatboxers and so on who want to interact with live controllerists. Imagine a live looping beatbox / controllerist / scratch DJ Mashup Jam, and that's what i'd like to see.

If anyone in the UK is interested then let me know and we'll try and get some crews together, maybe have a bit of an open mic session going on too. This isn't a paying gig, so don't expect Ministry of Sound, at least at the start this is intended as a forum for people to come along and showcase their talents that they wouldn't be able to do at the big mainstream clubs...

Totally agree with Tekki here, using live looping and djing isn't totally new, however there is ALOT of room for improvement in the realm and thats where controllerism techniques would fit in right at home. Your making me jealous of living halfway across the globe haha
