Dmx control with touch-screen / pc

Hi.
I wanted to try to control 6 lights with dmx using some sort of touch screen. Have anyone tried this? Could someone recommend a touchscreen witch is fairly stable? Would the surface 2 maybe be a good option? I have searched and it does not seem that there are any good options for ipad at the moment, so I think windows would be the best for now?

I saw people use all different kinds of touchscreens (lemurs amongst others) / mac books controlling different lightings and VJ shows.

But how and what... sorry, cannot help you with that.
