Height of DJ monitor (speakers)

I have a pair of AVI ADM9 active monitors and my DJ desk set up. I will put the speakers on either side of the desk. The ADM9s are 30cm in height - I have a choice of two different speaker stands to put them on; 90cm or 125cm.

The 90cm would bring the base of the monitors to the height the turntables sit.
The 125cm would bring the monitors near ear height.

Which of the two heights would you people recommend going for?

Lower or just ear height?

ear height for a balanced sound. too high, you will only hear more of the bass. too low, you will hear more of the tweet or higher frequency
