questions before i upgrade to 1.3 HELP

hi all just planning on doing the upgrade this weekend and was wondering the following..

is there a benefit upgrading to 1.3 and using the mapping with comes with traktor pro untill my overlay comes as ill get confused whats going on?

what are the button bugs does it fix, and are the bugs only for the custom map?

how do u check to see if your flash was done correctly? and can i use the output on my laptop which is for a adapter to a different monitor?
