Hi my name is Nicholas Young. I have been working on this tap dance compositional instrument. Using self made trigger boards, a host of controllers and effects, and Ableton Live. I create loops in real time, play melodies, drum tracks and bass lines and record them in real time. Then do solos over them and do some live mixing with effects. My most recent efforts were recorded and I thought I would share in hopes of finding some NYC based artist who were interested in collaborating on a larger scale. Perhaps bringing something into the club scene.
