Question Let's Have A Kiki (Remix) (work in progress) - Feedback Needed, Please

    Howdy DJTT Crew,

This is the first time I've ventured into the (perhaps over-explored) waters of EHFTDM (electro house festival trap dance music) and would massively appreciate any feedback on this little remix of the Scissor Sisters' awesome "Let's Have a Kiki".

The track is as yet unfinished (as you can probably tell) but any interim feedback regarding any aspect of it at all, from the mix, to the structure, to the sound design would be really useful, as I try to polish this off.

    Thanks a bunch

    A few points:
    - I am unable to find a clear structure in this song.
    - There is some lack of space in the track.
    - That electro synth of the drop sounds pretty cheesy, but that may just be me.

I liked the last part (with the half-time beats) the most!

Also, those vocals are really annoying, but that is just personal taste!

Thanks for the feedback Risc, much appreciated.

All totally valid, one quick question though. When you say there's not much space in the track, what exactly does that mean?

I mean that there isn't a sense of depth or layering within the elements.

Maybe this article and this video can help you out!
