Using 2 Stereo Outputs as 4 Mono Outputs

did not notice that... can anyone recommend a decent-quality 8 output interface?

ESI Gigaport is $200 brand new on Amazon, no frills whatsoever literally just has outputs.

An Open box Native Instruments Audio 8 can be had for $200 on Amazon (expensive new though)

Behringer FCA610 is around $200

If you have firewire, something like the M-Audio 410 runs around $140

It's going to be costly, but you can go with an RME UC or UCX. You'd get even more than 4 stereo outs Eventhough there are only 4 pairs of stereo outs. This is achieved with the Totalmix Fx software that comes with the interface.
