Maybe you've already done this but if you turn keylock off in traktor it might feel more at home to usign real vinyl as the pitch of the track will change as you move the tempo fader just like a real vinyl.

The trick is to look at the screen less and use your ears. Traktor takes a little time to update the BPM reading but the track speeds up/down like regular vinyl.
Just rely on the learned skill of beatmatching that you already have.

When I learned DVS coming from a vinyl background I was advised to cover the laptop and play through a playlist like it was just a bag of records. This was in the day before SYNC on Traktor Scratch. Worked for me and many others.

Similar thing for me. When I first got Final Scratch my PC was behind me so you had to turn 180 degrees to see the screen. That way it was the same as using vinyl and the only time you turned to look at the screen was to choose the next track.

It was a latency issue mate. I only use traktor as a record box.
My mixing is done entirely manual.

As I moved the pitch fader on the 1210, there seemed to be a delay between my movement and the pitch of the record.

    Sorted now though,

    Thanks guys.
