They look very impressive actually. I guess those are the suggested prices? Wonder what the actual street prices will be.

The AMX looks like something the Kontrol Z1 should've been all along. A mixer with transport controls. And this one has inputs as well!

A pocket sized $250 entry point into having serato - these are going to sell like crack.
DVS potential, innofader installed... I won't be getting the afx but I'll definitely be all over that amx

I just wish the little mixer wasn't bus powered only. After the "twitch" fiasco, I'm not sure I want anything with a sound card in it to rely solely on USB for power.

You mean the low volume ? .. I honestly don't think that should be any issue, I have a DDJ-SR and its got a louder output (headphones and master) than a great many club DJ mixers.

Controller manufacturers are getting much better at power management the last while, look at the APC40 MK2 for example.

    That's reassuring to hear.
I'll probably wait for the reviews first though.

As cool as these little beasts are I'm really hoping that NI respond with a Z1mkII with DVS support for both Traktor Pro users and Traktor DJ for iPad (and Android *wishfull thinking again).

If Serato/Numark/Akai release a single platter controller - bye bye NI

Yeah the amx is right up my alley, innofader and dvs support is amazing. Only thing I wish It was the same height as a standard mixer. I'm sold
