Default Problems connecting studio monitors to mixer

I have hooked up my KRK RP5 G2's to my Behringer VMX300 DJ mixer but I'm only hearing sound from one speaker. The main outputs of the mixer are labelled 'AMP' 'BOOTH' and 'TAPE', all with RCA connections. I have connected an RCA cable to the 'AMP' output matching red to red - white to white, and I have connected each end to each speaker, opting to connect red to the right speaker and white to the left as I was advised to do so. The left one containing the white connection is the only speaker which seems to work, so by swapping the connections around I can obviously change the output from one speaker to the other but this clearly doesn't solve the problem. Not too sure if I require one of these or not?....http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RCA-Phono-...3D160961917721.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

Yeah man tried every connection and having the same problem, I know that the speakers work fine and there's nothing wrong with the cables as I used the ones from my turntables...
