    Anyhow, I always called the earlier stuff you mentioned, well we called them 'breakbeats'. And the funny thing is I have most of everything listed on vinyl ;-)

    check out some old Hed Kandi CD compilations. they're ususally filled with tons of quality tracks. The one's from 1999 to maybe 2004 should be a good starting point

    and this is probably one of my favourite tunes ever. heard it on an old sasha mix. just an engineered masterpiece for me, all 13 minutes of it. wait for the drop (5.30), listen on a good system, have a smoke and listen to that it'll change your life

    Some 90's french house/disco edits is always nice for an old school mix -


    Really obvious one but I'd say this is one of the best electronic tunes ever and one everyone would like.
