Hi everyone,
I bought a MIDI Fighter Twister two days ago, mainly to use it as a MIDI controller for all sorts of things inside Ableton Live and here comes what disappointed me a bit:
I can assign all rotary encoders to any of Live’s parameters, which is great, but the parameter feedback seems to work only if bank 1 of the MIDI Fighter is selected.
For example, I’ve mapped the first rotary to the frequency parameter of Live’s Auto Filter. If I turn the encoder, the frequency gets changed. Now, if this frequency paramter gets changed inside Live the MIDI Fighter will notice and will update its corresponding LED ring accordingly. The feedback perfectly tells me what’s going on inside Live. However, this does not work if the MIDI Fighter is set to bank 2,3 or 4.
Can anyone confirm this or knows how to enable the LED feedback for all four banks? Any help is greatly appreciated as I am already thinking of sending this lovely gadget back to where I bought it from.
Thanks a lot in advance,
Axel
