    Lol

Yes I am after cost effective however, after some further investigation I may decide to buy a beast! I will just have to wait a bit longer before I invest, that is all.

I appreciate all your suggestions and consider them all, if nothing fits the bill from my initial post I will wait (my DJM T1 works just fine, just missing one function I desire) and spend more later down the line.

I've decided to check out the xone 23c and hook an rmx 500 up to it to see if it works for me. My local dj shop has them both on demo.
Will let you know how I get on.

Send returns are pretty much useless on the Xone 23, you would have to run the Rmx 500 on the master (that's my mini setup)
    Traktor: Custom 1210s - NI Z2 - F1 - X1
    Rekordbox: CDJ 350s - Xone 23 - Rmx 500
    Production: Ableton - Machine Mk2 - 49 key midi keyboard - KRK 6s

There's been some threads here on the newer A&H mixers feeding a dry signal to the return in. Do you see this? I'm curious about this! The A&H mixers I've owned (62 and 3D) have no issues running fx through the send/return. I have a red sound xs-fx unit I've used for years.

I'll add that on my 22 it works flawlessly. Maybe it's newer models that are crappy.
