    Until now; I used a low-of-the-low flaming Berhinger UFO22 2 rca , 2 rca out, and the onboard jack output (stacked in an agregated device) for cuing. Nothing great about it, but I never got any trouble with it except for a bit of hum.
    Currently I'm changing (gotta try a Fasttrack C400, and a Scarlett 2i4 if the first fails) to a 2 ins 4 outs setup , I'm still hesitating between two setups (if you have some inputs, don't hesitate)

    Out1/2 : headphones cuing
    Out3/4 : PA

    and

    Onboard Out : headphones cuing
    Out1/2 : PA
    Out3/4 : to my Boss RE20 Space Echo/Reverb (to save on CPU, and warmer sound)
    In1/2 : Return from Boss RE20

    oh no, it's really easy all the column are the very same

    from low to hi :

    1.
    push = mute
    knob = volume

    2.
    push = cue
    knob = send to space echo

    3.
    push = momentary enable multi-fx
    push + knob = select multi-fx (redux - phaser - vocoder - LFO1/8 bandpass - LFO1/16 bp - envelope controlled bp)
    knob = send to 3/8 delay

    4.
    push = reset filter
    knob = lp to hp filter

    2nd page on right hand twister = 8 macro knob to selected fx
