Default recording in Traktor Pro w/VCI-100

    How do you do this?

I turned the recorder on, and tried to click on record, but I got the error message that Traktor couldn't red the ID3 tags for recording.

I've also seen someone on a messageboard say that the record feature was taken off the latest version of Traktor Pro.

I've used iTunes to change all the ID3 tags of my tracks to version 2.2, which is what I've heard is the best version for Traktor Pro.

So really, I have no idea what else to try, or even if it's possible?

If not, does anyone have another method of recording?

Whoever told you that a liar and should be sued for being stupid.

It's still recording, you're doing nothing wrong. Just hit record. If the meters go up and down with the music that means it's recording.
    It's the FAQ. Read it.

    But where is it going?

I thought it was supposed to bring up a window where you can choose to have it saved? I checked in my "user" files, and it doesn't seem to be in the Traktor file either.

you've got to setup a directory for recorded files, in the rec tab of preferences.

My bad. I didn't realize there was already a thread on this.
