also when it comes to china quality control is a huge part of things, the big companies ensure that quality metals are being used, The knock offs copy the designs with cheap parts.

Wanna see poor quality Chinese knock offs look at dj lighting some looks nice but open it up for shear disgust. Not talking lasers either... However cheap Chinese lenses for DSLRS have been a pleasant treat in my experience.
