    Default Budget controller

I have a very small budget and I'm looking for pretty much the cheapest thing that will act as 2 x 3 band EQ, a few gain controls and if possible a x-fader (although that's not essential).

I was wondering whether anybody knew of anything that will do this as cheaply as possible? I'd be looking to upgrade ASAP so this is a sticking plaster really, and I don't want to spend much on that... as you can imagine!

When I first started to muck around with software I bought a Xone 1D. No crossfader but you have upfaders you can map and planty of pots for Eqs, filters and loops. You can pick them up pretty cheap on ebay now.

You can't go far wrong with a Xone 1D

The Pioneer DDJ-SB looks pretty impressive for the cost. I'm considering getting one myself.

I use Ableton so I'm not sure I'd get the best out of this? Although I agree it looks decent.

Since price is a big constraint...

Used APC-40...??? They are built like tanks and can be had for $125-150 pretty reliably on eBay.

If this really is just a band-aid...these are both right at $100 street price new.

I thought about the APC40 but for what I want to do right now I'd be happy with a dirt cheap X-Session. I'd say an APC40 MkII is high on the list for when I upgrade.
