The amount of creative stuff coming out of the demoscene every year is pretty stunning - if y'all are interested, scene.org or pouet.net are the primary portals for it.

pouet can be a little toxic sometimes, so the conversations are not always worth participating in.

Recently I've been surprised by the amount of music coming out of Australia that I like. Lets just say that the bands that did get known beyond Australia's shores when I was younger was, how do you put it....bad.
