Default Sync Traktor and Ableton the new way?

I have been running around the net looking for a way to link Traktor and Ableton?
i am running on a PC/Windows and am looking to see what is the best and newest way to link them?

Do they sync together properly now?

Is it always Ableton that is the master? found that when Ableton is the master you don’t get Trakor’s fader!!!

What are the advantages of having traktor master if you can and Ableton master?
i was wanting to DJ with traktor and record in Ableton then later add effects and the rest!

I have also heard you can buy a cable does that make it easier?

Thanks looking for the best way to link thanks anyone help will be great...

I think you want to use an internal router like jack audio from traktor into ableton. Out of ableton to speakers and headphones.

Use the midi clock on traktor to control the tempo (if you want effects on the beat) of Ableton

Also, if you just want to record, there's no need to sync them.
