Default Any DnB producers out there? Need some help...

I really want to start producing jump up DnB, and I tried making a track on my own last night. The intro sounded perfect, but the drop just wasnt what I expected. I wanna know how to make it stand out and sound heavy. When I first attempted it, it just sounded so basic. I'm using FL Studio and I dont have any VST plugins. This probably sounds like the lamest post ever, I'm still a beginner producer and I want to expand my skills, especially in producing DnB. Thanks.

Dude, that was the sickest song ever. I wanna make something similar to Andy C - Haunting or Audio - Genesis Device. Do you know how to make any synths like those using stock plugins in FL Studio?

Ok, so you're new to producing and want to make tunes like Audio and Andy C?

sorry to break it to you but they've been at it for years and you won't get there overnight either! Pendulum and Sigma both openly admit to making rubbish tunes when they started out: look at them now!

There are seriously loads of Youtube videos for you to watch, Audio himself has one, other good ones are Sub Focus, Chase & Status, Sigma, Metrik, and I really like the TC one too. Rockwell has quite a good video on choosing samples and fitting them together, and the Icicle one covers making a beat, heavy bass synthesis, and a bit on mixdowns and buss compression, all well explained.

It's about choosing your sounds carefully so they all occupy their own space in the frequency spectrum. The most important element though is a good mixdown, which only comes with practice.
