Default Will Mediafire screw me over?

I am backing up my music on mediafire and I am debating about posting some of my bedroom mixes up there too but they say "Do not upload any copyrighted files that you don't own the rights to or don't have permission from the owner to distribute even if you have no intent of actually distributing them."

Am I going to get screwed for putting up songs, even if I am not trying to start spreading them around the internet? Am I going to get shut down at some point if I just start putting m ixes up there? Esnips stopped letting post my mixes up there after I had about 15 different mixes, which was pretty weak. Anybody know anything definitive about this?

Given the fact that tons of blogs use mediafire to upload music I think you'll be fine. Can't you make your files private on mediafire?

Use CD/DVDs to backup your files if you want to play it completely safe imo.

Zip up your files and name it something other than what it is. mediafire? i've never done a mix less than 100MB, unless you have a pro account or something dude.
