Default Help with new set up

    Hi

I'm looking for some help with well a whole set up really. My partner DJs and at home he has an Gemini all in one thing (very technical I know! Lol) and I want to replace thia with separates for hia birthday. I have looked into it as much as I can and because I have absolutely no clue what I am talking about I thought I would seek help
Now obviously I want to buy him something decent and also without spending a fortune and had decided on Numark NDX400s. They seem to have a pretty solid rep, be reliable and good reviews everywhere I found them. Now I have realised there are NDX500s for pretty much the same price but there aren't as many available reviews. Which I admit throws me slightly as the specs page to be honest baffles me lol!
So my first question is do I go for the newer 500s or stick with the 400s. Then there's the question of a mixer... I have absolutely no idea here there seem to be thousands on the market! Can anyone help me at all??

    Thanks in advance

    Ria

    Question 1:

    What is your budget?

TBH, I think you'd be better off getting a controller.

That said, it all depends on your budget.
