Hi guys,
got a pair of cdj 2000 nexus and one of the cue buttons is starting to sound different, ie a little less 'firm' sounding than it did new, although it is fully functional.
is this normal or is this something i should worry about?
cheers

any chance one is running a different firmware?
and are they the same "age' and how old r they?
What do you mean sound different?
Physically it sounds different when you hit it or it sounds different when you play the audio file?
It'd help to record an audio clip for us.

i think he means it "feels" as though it is starting with a little less torque? idk either...
The cue buttons on CDJs to start to go rather quick if you beat them up. Are you a cue slammer?
I mean physically feel less 'firm', as in the button itself sounds a little less solid, no effect on the audio sound or the performance of the button, just thought i should ask if its worth getting it seen to!
I wouldn't sweat unless it comes loose in the socket. Both of my 800's cues did this and I fixed them. It's not a huge deal, just be sure to be easy on your cue buttons...
