every time i see someone mention waiting for "reviews" for the rane, or seeing if it lives up to expectations.. i seriously laugh out loud.
rane.never.fails.ever. this company has absolutely never put out a sub par mixer.

also i have to say by NOT building a USB hub or soundcard into this, they have basically future proofed the mixer and avoided any proprietary mis-steps like between apple and allen and heath, or future compatibility issues when USB 5.0 comes out or whatever.
I wouldn't say 'never'. Every company has a misstep.
Maybe it's not likely...but, I'd still wait until someone has it in their possession to use it.
We are talking about sound cards and driver issues, as well as ergonomics.
A little too pricey to just choose over an ad.
I want a 2015 as well... But still wouldn't buy it until I gave it a go in person.
FYI, the MP2015 has a 20 channel USB soundcard and 2 USB ports for connecting 2 systems at the same time.
But yeah, i have massive faith in this company! And its make in the USA. Even the Xone's are now made in China!
Well so are my apple devices but i am expecting great quality!
Idk, last Rane mixer I mixed on was a piece of shit. Tiny faders, plastic flimsy knobs, no room for my hands to move around, etc. Not sure which one it was exactly since it was a club setting and I don't want to get too into detail, but I hated it. It was a 2 channel at that. I would never go Rane over Xone. That's just me and my experience, I am pretty positive I would like the new one though.
After just having a look at the MP2015, that thing looks badass. 100 percent better than the pos I played on.

I have a 56 and it's a tank. But its a scratch mixer..for the time it was released it was the very best you could get with a vestax 07 or 05 being distant second. Its not really fair to compare it to a 900 nexus or a xone...newer and way more expensive. The56 is still tough and good sounding tho
I mean yeah I understand it being a scratch mixer so I can't totally knock the name because Rane is top notch no doubt. I'm no turntablist, so my mixer needs to be laid out in a much more appropriate manner than the 56 was.
