    Default RCA cable recommendations?

So I've noticed a buzz from one of my CDJs. I'm thinking (hoping) it's the RCAs I'm using. Any recommendations on some quality cables?

Same happened to me mate, I went to Guitar Center right away and copped some new ones. LiveWire is the brand they sell I believe, and I have had no issues with any cables I bought from them. The old RCA cables were shit I don't know where I got them.

Buzzes are most commonly causes by grounding problems. A suspect RCA patch cable can be a cause of that. Try ANY different patch cable and see if the problem moves with the cable. If you have two CDJs, swap the cables and see if the "buzz" follows the cable. If not, hopefully you have at least one extra RCA patch cable to try the same test.

I have swapped the cables out and the buzz is still there but less so. I just rotate the rca going into the one CDJ like I'm rubbing a nipple and it stops.

    This is slightly ambiguous.

Did the buzz move with the cable?
Did the buzz stay with the CDJ, but diminished?

Overall, it sounds like (haha!) there is a mechanical issue with the connection between the RCA on the CDJ and the cable. In either case, new RCA cables may be a cheap fix.

It was obviously my own nipple. That counts, right?

on a side note , stay away from gold plated cables ala monster and such. if you take down and set up frequently, the plating flakes off and makes for bad connections. if they are solid gold though play ball.
