    Default USB Cables

    Hey All,

    I have a weird application where i need a 25ft (or longer) USB cable A - B style. I want one in WHITE (i know they make black ones) anyone have a lead on this?

    25m may be too long. because of capacitance. maybe such a long cable has some buffers inside

    this is true. anything longer than 15ft and you tend to loose signal. that said tho, you can get a USB to cat5 turnaround then run cat5 the distance to where you need to be and back to USB again.

    You could potentially look at other options such as OSC to transmit your signal greater distances

    The loss of signal is 100% correct, there are cables which have signal repeaters, which can boost signal for the next few meters, and then follow with another cable with repeater connected. It may bring some latency tho!
    Check those out if there's no other options open.
