Default Mashup foray: The Reward Is More Kids

My first night with the vci 100. Tried to do a mashup of Deadmau5's The Reward is More Cheese and MGMT's Kids. It turned out okay I guess, but I still need to do a lot of Eq'ing. This was all done in one take with Traktor.

yeah... its kind of rough working with 0 acappellas, a handful of remixes, and 3 eq knobs, but I definitely think I'll be able to tighten it up in later takes.

do you have any tips? This is kinda the first thing I've ever dont like this, so I kind of expected it to be rough (but I wanted it to be awesome).

Dude, that is really flattering. Maybe I'll get a better version of it recorded before then.

yeah i think it works nice as well
are they in the same key ?
or just something you thought would work nice together ?
i did some a mash up the same, one take but i think it needs eqing better
but if you could mix it in a club like that it would sound hot so just use that tbf
