Call me stupid, but how would this be a scratch mixer. I don't think that is what RANE had in mind when they made this. But nice to know it can be used with Traktor. Thanks for your Review.

Did rane mention something about this being a scratch mixer? i highly doubt that as it is obvious that this is far from a scratch mixer

Lots of DJ's like to mix with turntables and timecode vinyl. You need "Traktor Scratch" support enabled to do that. It has nothing to do with turntablism.

Exactly. Considering also that this mixer has a very old-school approach to it, it makes lots of sense that DJ's would want to use turntables with it.

This is the answer I was looking for. I forgot about how blending transitions can be done with knobs rather then faders. I had scratch on the brain. Nice gear too..unless those are KRKs
