Don’t know what happened, but I ordered some new ones anyway. Just wondering if that weird skating issue was a result of my needles being bent. Any insight into this?
    Anyone?

Did you use a case to transport them in and/or do you have the plastic caps that protects the needles attached during transport?

I used the plastic shitty one they came with. Ordered a nice case as soon as I saw the bent needles.

I personally recommend the SHURE case. Blue doesn't get lost easily.

This is the one I ordered. Received it yesterday. It's solid!

You know when you buy new Shure carts - the case they come in is actually a case for TWO hedshell mounted carts, right:

I prefer the clear case to the Blue one - but it only holds 2 mounted carts...

Yes, I was using that case. It kept popping open. Hence the new case.

    Ah - I see.

Did you know that he lids only fit on ONE WAY? You have to match up the slots and the vanes. If you don't, the lid often pops off...

But, £25 for a solid solution is money well spent.

I did. The lid(s) just didn't manage to stay on whilst in my bag. The cylindrical shape is a weird fit for a messenger bag.
