Default [RECORDING MIXES] Setup : CDJ 800 MKII + Xone DB2

    Hi there,

I've searched the web for hours trying to figure out how to finally record my mixes.

Thing is, I got a Xone DB2 and a pair of CDJs 800 MK2. I downloaded Audacity as well as Traktor Pro 2 (I started on controllers) and neither of those seems to let me record properly what I want.

The CDJs are plugged to my Xone with RCAs in analog inputs and my Xone is connected to my computer with the USB.

Audacity : The input is set to my Xone DB2.

Traktor : Outputs and outputs are set to external, as the record mix.

    DB2 : USB routing : SEND 1 to CH analog 1, SEND2 to CH analog 2 .. etc

My problem is : Either I use Audacity or Traktor, the only thing I can record in the first turntable, without any effects. Even the fader seems to be like ... well : ignored.

Is there anyone here who would be willing to help me figuring out what to ?

Thank you very much (and sorry if my english's kinda poor, it's not my native language. )

Check your DB2 manual. One of the USB channels (on mine it's 7/8) must be set to REC OUT.
Then in Traktor, set that channel to deck C or D and set recording to external and on that channel.
