Fighter Twister: Receive secondary value with Shift Encoder Toggle
Hi, Got a Fighter Twister this weekend and now in the middle of installing it in my (vj)setup with an ipad/unity/max. Been going really well, until I tried to use the Shift Encoder Toggle. I can't receive midi as the secondary values, instead it receives a colorchange of the LED.
Encoder 20 is set to Shift Encoder Toggle / CC
Sending is going as expected:
20 1 sends 0-127 to CH 1
20 2 sends 0-127 to CH 2
Receiving however:
20 1 receives 0-127 onto the LED-ring. Yes, as expected.
20 2 receives the colorchange of the LED. But, why?
I was expecting that receiving 20 2 would change 0 - 127 on the ring too.
Do I overlook something obvious? I don't understand the appendix very much. Can someone point me into the right directon? Many thanks!

Dear Stewe,
Many thanks for your help and clarification, I will work around it until further notice. Which part of the forum would you suggest I should watch closely? I couldn't find info about this issue, there is so many different subjects and models.

Hi again Erik,
You can check that in the MF Utility Software. Once the new version is pushed to the server the information will also be available in the utility. The "Update Firmware" button will be orange.

Still not workin
Hi,
Shift encoder toggle for twister still not working!!! Tryin to send rotary values on differenct CC number and different CH. But it only sends the binary toggle value and the primary value on the primary channel..
Please fix this, wasn't a cheap controller, and it seems to be an issue for you a while.
Thanks

Try doing a factory reset, that should clear any traces from the earlier firmware.
