Default VCI 400 as Traktror Controller w/ External Mixer for Mixing!

Not sure if this is a stupid idea or not but here's my situation:

Been using traktor with a VCI 400 EGE for several years. I love the thing but wanted to expand my setup with a true mixer and turntables. So I just got a Xone DB4 with the intention of combining it with either an X1 or K2.

My issue is that right now I'm stuck with just traktor and the DB4. This is great for mixing but I was wondering if it was possible to still use the VCI 400 for transport controls like loading tracks, cue points, looping, etc. while using the DB4 for mixing the 4 channels coming out of traktor. This would just be temporary until I get a more suitable solution.

    Any thoughts?

Doable. Set your sound output to your mixer (when connected by usb) and use your midi input and outputs on your controller config settings. Easy peasy
