Dark Bassment (orginal track)

Here's a link to a track I've been working on, would really appreciate your thoughts (would embed but think DJTT block private links):

I just got a pair of monitors and not sure if I'm placing them right.. there's something I can't put my finger on with the lower end. Should I filter out some of the sub bass? When I push the level really high it sounds a bit weird, but I also know my room is also awful acoustically. Problem is the speakers are quite near a wall and nowhere else I can really put them so don't know whether to trust the sound or not...

Works now

I think the bass sounds ok. I'm listening on regular 2.1 speakers at work though, but it seemed to cut through enough on these. Nice work on the song overall.
