Default Question from a newbie :)

Hello there, i wonder if you can help, we are a small Sports internet commentary station that needs a small mixer for football games. Is there such thing that would take 3 usb headsets as the inputs with a usb output to go into the laptop to use with "mixlr" ?

I have scoured the net and i'm not sure if such thing even is out there.

Any help would be gratefully received.

    Many thanks in advance

    Keith

    Hmm,
if they are all USB headsets, I would guess all three could be plugged into the laptop (add an USB-hub if needed), and let the computer do the mixing?

If all your headsets are USB then you need something that can act as a USB host because they're like three USB audio interfaces but only ouputs. You wouldn't need a mixer; you need a computer. I recommend using software to route between mixlr and your three USB headphones. Try these solutions:

    OSX:
    Jack osx(FREE)
    OSX Native aggregated device (FREE)
    soundflower(FREE)
    audio hijack pro(commercial)

    WIN: (I don't have windows)
    Jackaudio
    Traktor Z2, Numark TTX1,Ableton Live 9/Push,Roland TR8,Eurorack modular
    Techno/Experimental

I would guess the headsets also have microphones as they are doing commentaries ^^, so there are input channels to be routed as well. But as you say, they need only the laptop (and maybe an USB-hub) and software to do what they need.
