Default Traktor Mk2 Control Vinyl Marker Placement

OK, just got some new Traktor Mk2 Vinyl, and read somewhere that you should align the stickers with a dot on the vinyl. Am I missing something as I can't see any dot on the record anywhere?

    Cheers.

Dot = the hole in the vinyl, I would imagine?

Nah, don't think it was that. It was where the point of the sticker should align to.

Anyway, I've sussed it now...... The instructions for aligning are on the back of the stickers!!!!!

    Cheers anyway.

    Rick.

Yeah, maybe not. I just wanted to know what the reason was before I fixed them on.
If you follow the guide on the back it helps you line up the cue / start of a track. Not essential I know, but none the less, I always like to know why, before making the wrong move !!

I think it's a bad idea anyway - you're gonna cut up (scratch/wear) the same point on your vinyl if you cue up from that point every single time.

Have you got your hot cues mapped to buttons? If you've got turntables, you really should have Novation Dicers, too.

Just treated myself to some Reloop RP8000 and running a Z2 mixer, so plenty of options on the cue triggers!!
