I built DJ gloves based on the Mi.Mu-gloves design for my own shows.
They contain an IMU so I can get their rotation and acceleration, a button at the side of the index-finger which can be activated with the thumb, a vibration motor, a RGB LED and six bend sensor in the fingers.

There are two modes of operation.
#1 is similar to what I used with my MidiFighter 3D. I activate/deactivate it with the button. Then the relative rotation of my hands is used to control effect parameters, the bending of fingers is used to control different effects.
The other hand is used for remix decks.

#2 Is meant for short performances accompanied by visuals the VJ can mix in. I want to create a 3-dimensional interface where I use my arms and hands to construct a track (remix decks can be used or the application itself can create sound).

For #2 I need some ideas. Currently I'm thinking about being able to shoot various sounds which will be looped and changing their occurences and parameters with different hand-poses. A little bit like a railshooter.
